Platform trolleys also known as platform trucks or hand truck trolleys have been part of the material handling industry for a long time. Trolleys are devices used for carrying loads or to transport the material from one point to another. For safer use of trolleys, they are to be pushed forward and should not be used on loose or rough surfaces where possible, unless it features pneumatic wheels. Trolleys are used for transportation in hilly areas like Ladakh. They can transport 4-5 people at a time. A trolley is built by tying strong iron ropes to strong and stable supports like trees or poles across any obstacle.
