A Pallet Truck, also known as a “pallet jack” or a “pallet pump”, is a basic form of forklift often used and best suited to a warehouse environment, for the moving of pallets and palletized loads .
Time Saving : The ability to ride or sit on a pallet truck enables operators to carry out long-cycle tasks and transport heavy goods, tasks which would otherwise use a lot of time and energy. Their advanced usability makes them easy to operate which reduces downtime and contributes to an improved TCO.
- How is a pallet truck used?
To transport a load with a pallet truck, first place the load on the pallet and ensure it is secure with a suitable load restraint product. Once your load has been suitably restrained you can begin to move your pallet into place and slide the forks under the gaps that are provided exactly for this purpose.
- Do hand pallet trucks have brakes?
A selection of our pallet trucks are also available with either a progressive brake or dead man hand brake . This enable the user to have complete control of the pallet truck and adds stability when being used on an incline or when the pallet truck is being transported.
